Howlin and Scavenging in Savannah

How do you top beating cancer twice?  In Cayce Girardeau’s case, you start a new adventure, a new business.  However, Cayce Girardeau has started two unique businesses that will benefit humans, animals and tourists.

Howl Out Loud (www.howloutloud.com) is a T-Shirt company, producing t-shirts for dog lovers.  In keeping with Cayce’s charitable spirit, a percentage of sales will go to animal shelters and pet rescue. Sunday, September 28 Howl Out Loud is throwing a T-Shirt release party at Blowin Smoke Barbecue at the corner of Gaston and MLK.  There will be treats for the dogs and their owners, with the proceeds benefiting the Humane Society and Coastal Pet Rescue.

What better way to learn about Savannah than a Scavenger Hunt.  Cayce’s Savannah Fun Tours (912-667-9760) has scavenger hunts for adults and families.  She recently did a test run with about 60 locals. I was one of her test group.  It was an amazingly good time. The hunts combine history, folklore and creativity.  Here Scavenger Hunts are sure to be a welcome detour for tourists and locals wanting a more interactive experience.
